Installation

This CD contains version 2.0 of the Climate Atlas of the United States.
Installation Instructions:
NOTE: This version is not supported in Windows 95 or Windows ME or Macintosh.

  • If your computer is Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you must be logged on with system administrator rights to install this Atlas.
  • Use the Windows Explorer (or another file management tool) to navigate to the root directory of your computer's CD-ROM drive.  Double-click on the file titled "CA_Install.exe" and follow its instructions.
  • If your computer is Windows 2000 or Windows XP, logoff and log back on again with system administrator rights to allow ArcExplorer to register itself.  The Atlas will then be available to all users.
