Climate of 2002 - September
Oregon Drought

National Climatic Data Center, 11 October 2002

This month was drier than normal, statewide, ranking as the 22nd driest September in the 108-year record. The persistent dryness during much of the last 12 months has resulted in the fourth driest February-September and 30th driest hydrologic year (October-September) on record.
