In ABE (Allentown>Division 2) for June, July, and August 2002, the average temperature showed a +2.4-degree departure from normal and thirty-two 90-degree and above days. There was a +136-degree day departure for cooling degree days this summer. The precipitation for those months had a –4.13-inch departure from normal at this station. According to the divisional temperature and precipitations ranks, temperatures were above normal and precipitation below normal from June-August 2002 for this station’s division. In MDT (Middletown-Harrisburg>Division 3) for June, July, and August 2002, the average temperature showed +2.5-degree departure from normal and thirty-seven 90-degree and above days. There was a +244-day departure for cooling degree days this summer. The precipitation for those months had a –4.10-inch departure from normal at this station. According to the divisional temperature and precipitations ranks, temperatures were much above normal and precipitation below normal from June-August 2002 for this station’s division. In PHL (Philadelphia>Division 3) for June, July, and August 2002, the average temperature showed a +2.3-degree departure from normal and thirty-nine 90-degree and above days. There was a +226-degree day departure for cooling degree days this summer. The precipitation for those months had a –3.18-inch departure from normal at this station. According to the divisional temperature and precipitations ranks, temperatures were much above normal and precipitation below normal from June-August 2002 for this station’s division. |
