As noted by the Wyoming State Climatologist (Jan Curtis), December 2004 was quite warm and dry across most of the state (relatively speaking). December is usually one of the driest months during the year and while average temperatures still ranged from the teens to low 30's (°F), they were between 4 and 10 degrees above normal.
