Wyoming Drought

As noted by the Wyoming State Climatologist (Jan Curtis), during the month of November temperatures ranged from near normal over portions of southern Wyoming to greater than 4 degrees F (2 C) above normal over portions of the northeastern region of the state. Precipitation was generally well above normal over the southeastern and southwest portions of the state with well below normal amounts over The Bighorn Basin, south cental, and northwest mountain valleys. Soil moisture was improving over southwest Wyoming but was still dry over the northeastern region of the state. A detailed report is available at:
