THE TOTAL MONTHLY SERIES, BY STATE, ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE PERIOD 1931/32 THROUGH 2001/02: HISTORICAL CLIMATOLOGY SERIES 5-1, "STATE REGIONAL AND NATIONAL MONTHLY AND SEASONAL HEATING DEGREE DAYS WEIGHTED BY POPULATION (2000 CENSUS), (JULY 1931 - JUNE 2002)."
